The International Technology Forum (ITF) is the leading information and networking event for international leaders in high-tech industries. For the very first time ITF is being held outside of Sillicon Valley and is bringing US sources of capital to meet with entrepreneurs and business leaders in Barcelona.
Selected companies will be privately-held companies from the specified sectors (Telecommunications, Biotechnology, Computer Hardware and Software, and Energy). Companies encouraged to apply include seed, early-stage, late-stage, and pre-IPO. The typical company will be in the A or B round of funding. The requested investment should be 1.000.000€ and up.
Presenting companies will be selected by a committee composed of qualified venture capitalists serving on the conference's Advisory Board. The criteria by which each application will be evaluated and scored include; market opportunity, partnerships, business platform, competitive advantages, intellectual property, exit strategy and the quality and experience of senior management. Each of these criteria should be disclosed in the application, which represents the corporate profile of the company. It is important to be as thorough and complete as possible when filling out the application. Applications must be submitted in English only.
Selected companies are expected to participate in a CEO Boot Camp prior to the session in the morning of November 29, 2007. This is an intensive 4-hour training session aimed at helping presenting CEOs to refine and hone both their formal presentation and their presentation skills. There is no cost to presenters to attend the boot camp.
The structure of the ITF 2007 Venture Forum in November will promote numerous networking opportunities for participating companies. There will be organized breakfast and luncheon events to maximize visibility and interaction.
All of these activities are included in the registration fee along with reserved space for presenting companies to meet with VCs following presentations if necessary. To receive a discount for participating in other components of the ITF 2007, registration fees should be paid by the early registration deadline. Presenting companies’ employees will receive a registration discount code.
Thank you for your interest in presenting your company at ITF 2007 Venture Forum. To begin the process, please submit an application online.
Due to the summer vacation season and numerous requests from companies to participate, we have extended the deadline to submit your application to September 21st. Complete your application as soon as possible so that you won’t miss this extraordinary event.
NOTE: The first three qualifications are mandatory; however, answering just one of the last two questions will lead you the next phase of the submission process.
