Profile: Marc Lloveras is responsible of CIDEM financial programs, aiming to improve the use of the financial products by catalan companies to become more competitive in a global environment. CIDEM invests in different venture capital funds operating in Catalonia. Marc also leads the Invertec Fund, a seed capital fund investing in early stage tech companies.

After being graduated in Computer Engineering by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Marc joined Accenture. As financial services area manager, Marc led different technological projects for blue-chip clients in Spain and México. After ten years of consulting experience, he joined Baird Capital Partners, the venture capital division of an Anglo-American investment bank. In 2002, Marc developed the Invertec Fund. Since then, Invertec has invested in 25 young tech companies in Catalonia.
