He is Coordinator of the Network Technologies Cluster from the i2CAT foundation since 2004. Graduated in Telecommunication Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC, January 2002). He holds a Masters in Project Management from La Salle (Universitat Ramón Llull- 2004). He joined the UPC's Optical Communications Group (GCO) in November 2000 and is PhD candidate from UPC. As a cluster coordinator he is leading different research and innovation projects at a national and international level (i.e. the UCLP project), and acting as workpackage leader of two EC projects related to European research infrastructures from the VI and VII framework (PHOSPHORUS and FEDERICA). His main topic of research are next generation management/provisioning system.
